What happens when a narcissit male dates a narcissist female?

Hi Ladies,

I am wondering what happens in this dynamic. I am only asking because the X is now dating a narcissist female. I have been NC for nearly 2 months with him and feel like a whole new person. I believe someday soon I will not even care who he is involved with but just curious how this type of dynamic works.

Thanks to everyone sharing. It has goten me through the most difficult days. Even on good days I read and it makes me smile to know the support that is here.

I Always Wondered the Same Thing

My son's father is an "N" and Bi-Polar. He was married 4 times and never for more than 2 years before he married his current "N" wife and they have been together over 14 years. They aren't very pleasant to be around, always talking to you at the same time, arguing, etc. But, they are still together and they are both definitely "N"'s.

the bi-polar trumps the Nism in that one person. Bipolars classically can show a lot of Nish traits. therefore it's not a true N + N ~~~~~~~~~~~~ "Pathologicals only discard the best, most precious of gems of people... not the worst. Narc + Narc? Rare, if ever

The first thing I thought of was, spontaneous combustion??? Ya, trying to think of how that works...maybe if they're getting lots of supply from other sources? Otherwise, no idea!
