3 months!

It's been three months today since I moved out and haven't seen his face since he was standing in the window flipping me off as I drove away with my parents, friend, the movers, and the police! I sent him one text a few weeks after I left in regard to a bill, and several of you kindly pointed out that is best handled through attorneys, which is what I have done since.

I haven't been on this site for some time, because reading all of this makes me think about all he did to me and I feel upset. I know avoiding isn't healing and doing the work I need to do. But, I have healed from the immediate gut wrenching pain and get up now with a smile on my face in the mornings and not dreading waking up each day.

I know that soon we will run into each other with school events starting and children in the same schools. It's kind of a miracle that in a small town of 30,000 it hasn't happened in three months.

I pray to be strong, and know I will likely be turning to all of you again, as your support is what got me through my last two months in that house and my first month out on my own. So thank you!
