Can someone answer these questions for me?

I have a question...this is my 2nd time being with this narc ...he devalued and discarded me. Said I was too dramatic when I told him I cared for him, etc (he told me he wanted to work together to become "one"...he thinks I would never ever write him off, as every time he tried to discard me I begged him to forgive me ( how pathetic I am) for falling for him. He called me selfish because he was at his treatment (for supposed cancer, which he lied before to me he had cancer) and I hadn't heard from him almost 2 days and kept texting him, which he apparently took as me being selfish because he was busy and didn't have to answer every time I text (FYI...I never know when he has treatment scheduled and if I knew where he was I wouldn't have bothered him. Anyway, I told him that he knows where to find me if he wants me, or if he chooses to block me I am ok with that too...so he texts me back "Bye" and I responded with " no problem" . I would usually be texting him frantically and pleading with him to not write me off...I did not do that...I blocked him and I also blocked so I can't text or email him either, so I can be more successful at NC. So to make long story short, I did not react to his insults, I did not beg him to forgive me (really?)... So finally, my question is do you think it bothers him that I blocked him and that I didn't react to his head games like I usually do? what has anyone else's narcs done or how did they react when u blocked the narc?
