Dead Inside

Normally, without a psychopath in my life, I am deeply touched by beauty. Art, music, and nature move me. The sight of a hummingbird would fill me with joy.

But while in the relationship with the psychopath and for several weeks after, nothing. I was empty inside, depressed all the time, crying. I didn't care.
