Hoover?

I received a message in my Facebook inbox from someone that I do not know inviting me to a bar this weekend where my ex narc's band will be playing. I'm trying to figure out if I'm being hoovered or not. It just stinks when you are trying to move forward and then something like this triggers all the emotions. I think I may just delete my fb account. I really want to move forward.

As a side note, does it seem like musicians are more likely to be narcs? Not to offend anyone who may be in a ban, but mine plays bass and it seems like the other guys have the same tendencies.
