I always thought Narcs had the same books on how to manipulate us. What would you name the book they're reading?

Books they would be reading on how to abuse us...

"How to get a girl crazy over you"
"How to cheat and cover up horribly"
"How to manipulate and lie without blinking your eyes"
"How to be the worst man you can be!"
"How to be cheap"
"How to be a freak"
"How to trama bond"

How about, "How To Win Friends and Influence People?" That's a real legit book, but it would also make a fabulous title to a Narc's handbook.

I don't think he picks up info from books. I think he picks it up from going to meetings, and takes his cues from these suffering people. He can learn how to fake emotions better. In a twisted way, it shows him all he needs to know, to pick up the next one.
