I can understand how you feel; I kind of felt the same way when exNH split from wife #5. What I've realized, though, is that he's NOT miserable because he had his narcissistic supply waiting in the wings so he moved right into a relationship with her. He didn't spend a single minute thinking about how he'd hurt wife #5 just like he didn't spend a single minute thinking about how he'd hurt me. All my exNH does is leave a trail of destruction behind him and it doesn't matter at all to him.

A HUGE Thank You For All The Support in Good Times and in Bad!

I really just wanna come down from my high right now to tell you all how much I appreciate all of your hi fives...cares, concerns, love, and just constant support!! It is so comforting knowing that whether Im as low as low can get or (for the first time here) on a high, you are all always here to cheer me on....I cant tell you enough how incredible that feels!!! You all have become such a HUGE part of my every day life!!! I will never forget this turning point in my life (joining this forum) and how you all saved me!! I know I still have a lot of work for me ahead...and I know there will still be more obsticles to overcome but for now...tonight...I am going to enjoy this high of validation and this almost closure kinda feeling!!! I was driving on the bridge when you texted me that message! That why I just sent a smiley face! It is a wonderful feeling when you find out news like that and I couldn't be happier for you! It's a feeling, almost like a victory. Where you jump up and down for joy. As you should. However, make sure to look at this as the "playoffs" not the final game. There are many different ways this could play out. He could hoover her relentlessly and she may return, actually many times before it's actually over, as we all know too well. He may not have administered his final D & D yet. I am not surprised, if you look at the timeline. End of September, breaks up with you a few days later he is with her so that takes us into October, the three month time frame would take him to the end of January, where he can hardly keep his mask on, probably a roller coaster ride from hell for her, and then comes February and the breakup. They could reconnect a number of times. But that really doesn't matter though, he is irrelevant. Be prepared though for his return. If he has not secured supply and she is not taking his bait, he may reach out. That is my concern, especially with your birthday right around the corner. Keep on your toes my friend. Be prepared for it, just in case. If I had a dime for every time he reared his ugly head when I thought he was gone for good............. Don't want to rain on your parade. This is a happy day indeed!

You remember how we do it, lol. You got a lesson first hand on your one on one. I laugh everytime I think of that night. I have NEVER seen one of them sail off into the sunset and have a happy life. Never, they always come crying back to Mama bitching about SOMETHING. He may very well seek you out again if she does not take him back. They have absolutely no shame at all you know. They come back as though nothing happened. It is a rush though isn't it to realize that it was HIM all alone and not YOU as we all keep saying on here.
