The small things.

(I promise won't bore you guys with daily updates of my feelings, but I just wanted y'all to know I am better)

Yesterday, I found out Frasier was on Netflix. Watched like 10 episodes in a row. Started smiling, then chuckling then laughing. First time in days I hadn't felt suicidal.

After the marathon, I went to my best friends house feeling pretty good. Much better than I had since everything happened. We talked about the jerk and she said to me "aren't you excited for the life that is ahead. The one he isn't in and is about you?"

and it was like a fucking lightening bolt. Good bye loser, hello new happy, drama free life.

I feel like Frasier reminded me that life is still good and there are many joys in it. And her comment hours later just hammered it home.
