My friends and I would

My friends and I would imitate him, laughing, (after I told them about another one of his boring converstions, when I chimed in and wanted to share something)"BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE ABOUT ME".......we would crack up, imagining him thinking or saying that. They use to also say stuff like, "Look at me (while vaccuuming)I am the best vaccuumer in the world" or "Look at me, (while on the toilet) I am the greatest at going to the bathroom".......they made such fun of him, I laughed as well. It was funny! Funny, but sad actually.........well, he is now someone else's problem. There is a woman (or ten, who knows) that is now listening to his endless dribble about himself.....Free at last, free at last, Thank God almighty, I'm free at last!!!! Smiles

Those are perfect examples of what I consider true love to be also, funny but in my life now, all that I have seem for the last 6 years are the latter ones.

GREAT article, all those things about fake love were my exnarc to a T....he had to be RIGHT no matter if the relationship was in ruins and he all was TALK and no action.except for himself. Sparrow, the dept of our conversatons was the weather and coupons and this went on for 15 freaking years......

it got pretty dull and predictable, except for the sex life and us doing fun things together. I tired to talk to him about more indepth things but it ever worked, he just would not get it, oh, we also talked about his kids and things like that but nothing heavy ever.

I SAID THEY COULD BOTH BORE FOR ENGLAND.....THE SPOKE OF FOOD..TV..WEATHER..WOMEN..SEX...BORING BORING BORING, I WAS THINKING THIS TODAY ,I HAVE SPENT MY WHOLE ADULT LIFE WITH 2 MEN NARCS..AND THERE IS NOTHING TO CHOOSE BETWEEN THEM..BOTH BORING DEADBEATS...LOL. That's too funny Used! I guess they really believe they are interesting and we confirm it to them by putting up with their boosting.....every time I tried to tell him something about me, he would interupt and one up me in the converstaion......I finally would ask if I could finish my thought, he would say yes, and totally fog over. He had NO interest in me what so ever. I was with him for 1 year and he never even asked where I worked! He knew what I did for a living but never asked where, for what company, nothing.......one question he would ask me alot was "are you horny?" and proceed to talk about sex. He was disgusting!

Yours did too? They all do don't they? Mine was the most amazing of athletes. LOL He was a runner, cyclist, swimmer........admitted to me on several occassions how he could beat Lance Armstrong at running and swimming and give him a run for his money on a bike as well. I said to him, "but he is a 7 time world champion cyclist" didn't matter, he believed it to be true. OMG!!!!! He didn't ask his first question about me until 4 -5 weeks after we met.......the first question was "how tall is your twin brother" I said it was an odd question, especially since he has never asked me anything about me. He disagreed, of course. He spoke of the weather relentlessly too! BORING!!!! I mean really, who gives a crap about the dew points? LOL And if he asked me once, he asked me a thousand times if I liked shrimp. Why do you keep asking me the same question over and over, I would say. Turns out, her was communicating with soooo many different women, he just couldn't keep track of who he asked........unbelievable. The most unblievable though, is I STAYED with him! He was such a douche, excuse the expression.........

omg, I never connected the dots...that's why mine was so odd and why he never asked me questions (like where I work) he didn't want to "know" too much and then have to remember it because he had to many women to keep track of! He talked about the weather where he was working out of town A LOT! And he talked about Japanese porn & Austrian whorehouses (said he had to take clients there) and at first his stories were charming & funny but it got boring and old and then I realized ALL his conversations were about a. his job b. porn/sex c. the weather

Wacaet your first comment explains a lot to me. I always wondered why he semed so uninterested in my life. That's a revelation- I always suspected he was texting others at the same time. Once I got an 'I love you' followed by the same message literally a second later! He was only interested in talking about himself.
