I ran into his ex-wife at Cub Scout camp this morning and she said I should take the phone tomorrow and throw it at his ugly head and say 'here's your precious piece of shit'. She makes me smile. I told her I sent it certified mail with no word or anything that I sent it or no note in envelope. I want to make sure I sent it certified so he can't lie and say he didn't get it. She said 'you go girl'...keep the strength. She's routing for me and is a very sweet and kind lady. She can't stand him either but has to deal with him forever now because of their son. I feel for her.
I think it would just give him validation that you're thinking about him. Attention - good or bad - makes them feel like you're still their puppet.
And you have no idea how he might respond. He might get really nasty.
The fastest way to healing is really to have no contact and to do things in your life that make you happy. Every bit of energy that you spend on him and not yourself is keeping you from progressing in your healing that much more.
Besides, you said it yourself that he never thinks he's wrong. Sending him anything will have little impact or negative impact that will rebound back onto you.
Trust me, there are a LOT of things I'd like to say to my ex, but he isn't worth my energy.

I guess I just wanted him know what I think of him and what he is and what he's done to me. I know he would get very nasty. Maybe I am to weak for that.

The strongest thing you can possibly do is to continue the NC. THAT takes strength, pride, integrity, etc. Show that you have those things by refusing to give him an ounce of your attention.
I don't think I'm anything special, but I appreciate the kind words.
Yes, please do not send it off. Show you're above him by remaining silent. That will make much more of an impact than anything you could send him.
