My ex turned 50 this year. I haven't heard a peep since I dumped him 5 years ago, but that's because he has a long term back up girlfriend who's been with him for 15 years who he goes back to between OW. She's a nurse and has an excellant retirement package and has caught him cheating twice (out of ten times) and refuses to ever leave him.
Occasionally I see him trolling for new supply at the local bar and it's comical to watch because he still thinks he's "hot". He keeps his hair long and dyed black in a mullet style like it was in the eighties. He looks like a haggard pig in a wig and now he walks with a limp. Alot of women cringe after talking to him -- which is even more comical.
I don't plan on ever hearing a word from him, thanks to the dedicated back up girl. I should send her flowers!

'dedicated back up girl' I like that phrase...mine has one of those too. he thinks he is all that- flirting with all the younger chicks when he goes out to eat etc. They are polite but dont give him much attention
he actually said he wishes he could be a woman for a day because it is easy for them to get sex... so I think that right there says it all. His backup girl wont even sleep with him anymore! she puts up with him even though he threatens to kick her out almost daily.

I can understand why his ex wife doesn't speak to him - it never comes to any good or equitable outcome. NOTHING gets through to him. I am encouraging my teenage daughters to speak their mind to him even if it's just for their peace of mind. They need to learn to speak their mind to men! If it's something relating to information we need to share I use email. His responses used to make me physically ill but now I can deal cause I know what to expect.
yeah but if she dumped him now or he dumped her, at his age or any man in this age, would he be able to get a new NS , think my ex would rather "do things" himself than deal with another woman, unless he just got head instead of sex cause it was all about him towards the end. He told me if we broke up he wouldn't have the energy or time to TRAIN another woman! So if he can find one who is all about giving him what he wants and has no problem with that , more power to her, But he didn't like it when I didn't allow it to be all about him. For a man who is only 51, even when we first started dating he could only perform once every 10 hours!If that.
My ex uses his kids and his Tattoo shop for his NS, And the more his kids go against him the more he dislikes them, it's really sad,but he will get his in the end, his kids cannot wait to get away from him, his youngest will be 18 in 8 yrs, then he will be alone. I don't think another woman will deal with him, he is hateful and that is one thing I noticed as he got older, he cannot hide it as well anymore.
