Advice

I find myself constantly questioning whether he is an N even though all the information is there. Is this natural? I keep thinking "Maybe I'm just trying to make myself feel better about being dumped?" Any insight???

Originally posted on Oct 16, 2007, 2:35pm Oh believe me....I constantly questioned whether he was really an N. It's natural to do so. If you think there's a chance that he's not, then you give yourself the possibility that there may be hope that he can change. If he changes, you think maybe you can have a healthy relationship with him. I did this all the time. Unfortunately, at the end of the day, I'm sure, just like me, you cannot deny his narcissism. The signs are all there. Don't ignore them and don't second guess yourself. Narcissists do an incredible job of making their significant other doubt themself. My n's had me doubting myself all the time. They are master manipulators and they do this on purpose. Trust your instincts. You know who and what he is and you need none of it!
