A blessing and another tool for recovery...

Greetings to my sisters and brothers in recovery and strength.

Many of you know that I often post words of wisdom that have been passed along to me from my aunt, who is my mentor, spiritual guide and a source of great support. I am blessed to have her in my life. She is 80 years young and is an absolutely amazing woman. A true role model.

She has come across a book and CD by Louise Hay called 'Experience Your Good Now'. She shared it with me. It is a CD about affirmations, about changing your thoughts and words and how it can change your life.

I have been using this tool for some time. Also, Louise Hay was inspired on her journey by Abraham Hicks, whose meditation CD 'Getting into the Vortex' propelled me on my path to recovery at about four months NC.

I listen to Louise Hay's CD while doing housework, working out, getting ready for work, driving, etc. I listen to it every day and I love it. It has made a difference that is amazing.

My aunt has purchased a number of Louise Hay's books, which comes with the CD (it is not a meditation CD, she just talks about changing thoughts and using positive affirmations). My aunt supports our work here on The Path Forward and would like me to offer a copy to anyone who is interested. As I do not want her to pay the mailing expense (which is about $2.60 First Class U.S), I came up with an idea that anyone who would want a copy could simply give a love offering. Whatever is above expenses would be donated to this site. Simply covering mailing expense is okay, too. Whatever anyone feels is right is okay.

I am very excited to pass this along as it is an outstanding resource and I believe strongly in the concept that where you focus your thoughts becomes your reality.
