Here's a Red Flag

I saw a red flag that I am so embarassed I ignored. When I brought my ExNarc into work to meet people, etc....a co-worked recognized him, said "hi" and apparently he looked startled to see her (my back was to him). Anyways, this co-worker knew his ex-girlfriend he dated for 6 years right before me. After I escorted him out, she turned to me and said OMG....there WILL be lots of drama, he broke up with her every few months, etc..... Well, the even scarier thing I didn't run away from was the fact that he went back to his office, put his head in his hands and said to himself, OMG she (me) is going to dump me (which I should have!!!) He was so distraught by what he thought this co-worker would tell me that he became paranoid.....

He knew he was an ass.......that was my sign...I chose to ignore it....now I suffer....

Me too

I ignored a huge red flag the three week of seeing my N.. His best friend told me, "DB he really likes you, but he will probably not stay with you" I should of listened... But, I had liked my N for last 20 years and never could really have him... I thought that I had him... Plus, at that point, I thought, the sex is amazing and I will ride this wave and if it ends it ends... Well, being the empath that I am I fell hard... Damn Jacknut anyway...

Dont feel embarrased, we all

Dont feel embarrased, we all have ingnored these. Ive done worse. Love is blind as they say. There were times when im sure God got so frustrated by my ignoring or covering up the red flags that Im sure he wanted to stuff them down my throat. Now I see them all, i have the full story!

Being a Christian, I would do

Being a Christian, I would do my daily prayers, including praying for the relationship. One day I said "God, please either support or get me out of this relationship if that is what's best for me." The next day we got into a huge fight (one that he escalated) and it was the beginning of the end.... Thank God....

His sister warned me about him!

Don't worry, we've all done it. My exes own sister pulled me to one side at his brother's wedding and said, "Be very careful, he has a terrible temper. You seem like a nice girl, just be careful". His own sister!!!! And I carried on with the relationship!
