Hoovered!

I have been NC since mid-November. Finally learned my lesson to the tune of $40,000, thankfully covered by insurance. But it took that trauma to wake me up. He has no idea the damage he caused and I don't want him to. I wouldn't give him the satisfaction because I know he would take great pleasure in knowing. So he emailed me to let me know he hadn't received a check yet, back in December (yes, I even paid for it yeesh). I didn't respond and haven't heard from him since. I know that he went straight from my house to his ex. Just like he went straight to me from the ex when we got back together briefly. Stupid, stupid, stupid.........
Anyway, today I'm upstairs and my mom, who has Alzheimer's, answers the door and there he is, breaking my NC. He tells me through the door, that he has brought wood for the fireplace. I told my mother to come back inside and to shut the door. I was hoping he would just go away. I just had a huge pile delivered and didn't have any room for more but he goes up and starts unloading. I was forced to talk to him from the upstairs window to tell him to please stop. I don't WANT your wood. Does he respect my wishes? No. He has to leave some in the mudroom anyway. I said thank you and that was it. I didn't want to anger him but didn't want him to think he had any effect on me. It pissed me off though.
I feel good. I didn't give him the reaction he expected and that is pretty empowering. I'm sure he was triangulating again. Why else would he be here?
