I'm a sociopath

They know what they are. Some get called out and have their masks ripped off and disappear. Often we realise what they were only after the D & D. My question is this: what would you have done if they had told you they were a sociopath while you were in the relationship? How would you have reacted? What would you have done with that information? This happened to me, with someone I had 'known' for a few years. I had not found this site then. I don't have contact with him anymore, but I guess I am wondering WHY he would choose to tell me that and what on earth he thought I would do once it was out there. At the time I kind of ignored it...a few weeks later I walked away.
