Incredibly shallow but had to share

Hi everyone, I hope you are all going well.

I know for a lot of you it is cold and wintery but I am in full summer mode and its hot and humid where I live at the moment.

In a few months time you will have a lovely spring and summer to look forward to while I have autumn/winter ahead.

Anyway, I had to share this because it made me laugh.

When I split with my POS (I only just worked out what that stood for and now I know I use it all the time), and asked him to move out of my place it totally shook him off his perch momentarily, and he asked if he could store some of his belongings in my garage while he went on a little holiday.

Stupid (well, actually kind and normal and human me) let him because I felt sorry for him and it was really no skin off my nose. My garage is big.

When he came to collect his stuff a few weeks later I didn't take much notice other than making sure I locked the gate after he loaded his car and left.

But then this weekend just passed I was fossicking around trying to find my dodgy old fan. One of those pedastal things that oscillates. Mine was a crappy old thing Ive been carrying around for years - dusty and unreliable. It didn't oscillate properly,would get stuck on one location and make a horrible vibrating noise and the stand was dodgy so you could never set the height properly.

Hadn't thought about it for months (he finally left in October) and then I fished it out on weekend to get some air circulating in the house.

Ladies and gents - Ive got a flash new fan, that works and is perfect. He must have taken the wrong one. So Im sitting pretty with the goods, and he's got the broken down one.

A small and slightly pathetic victory - but one I am nevertheless very amused by.

So there is karma after all, even if only in the shape of a humble fan.
