Normal Relationship?

All right... Barbara - counting on you here... :) What is a "normal relationship"? I have never seen one modeled. For the first 8 years of my life, grew up without a dad, 'cause bio dad was an alcoholic, wife beater. Thank God mom left him... but then she married a MALIGNANT narcissist with all 9 personality traits of NPD... and divorced him 16 years later. I am asking... what is a normal relationship? I don't know what it is. My NH knows I don't know what one is. I hate myself because it took ME 15 years to see that he is a narc and to realize wasn't ALL MY FAULT... Please - what IS a NORMAL RELATIONSHIP? I need to know. It would serve as inspiration, I suppose, to get out of my ABNORMAL relationship...
