Poking and more poking

The more that I looked at it, the more I saw the pokes. They were intentional and intended to hurt. And they sure did.
It is bad enough that they have no empathy but when they poke you with statements that they know will hurt you, that is just sadistic. I hope he gets the karmic kick up the ***that he deserves. What the hell did I ever see in a person like him ? he has proved himself to be a liar a deceitful controlling manipulator and my guilt is gone. For so long I blamed myself but I know now that I was just reacting to his treatment of me and what self respecting person would allow someone to keep doing that to them. We take it until we can endure no more. All in the name of love. But if that is love, who would want it.?
I am glad that he is gone from my life and my worst mistake ever my only regret ever is allowing myself to believe him.
Only a truly sick mind is capable of being so cold callous and cruel.
Each lying word, was just another poke at what I felt for him, until he poked one too many times and what was once love for him is now just disgust.
He is now no more than a bad memory.
