Progress

So I've made so much progress since I found this site. And I will always be eternally grateful that I spent all that time searching for someone to understand and I found this site.

It's funny I look back now and I'm still questioning how and why I allowed what I did - but that is still part of my journey and my self discovery - I see how twisted he is and how twisted I became. I read every day and sometimes I go back and read where I was and am so grateful that I will never be there again.

I've finally, finally reached the point that he no longer has his "hooks" in me. I can see clearly now :-). And the biggest obstacle in my path has been me!

Had a counseling session on Thursday and I told my counselor that this was the last session that I was going to waste on him. That from this point forward I was working on "me and my issues"! She raised her fist in the air and shouted "YES!" :-)

I'm getting there and I have much more to learn but it feels so good to be where I am now. Am excited and looking forward to continuing on the path forward.....
