Recognizing patterns in abuse

This is an awesome article on recognizing the patterns of abusers before you become their victim:

I found this to be really useful particularly because of the section that talks about how people who have been repeatedly abused (whether physical or emotional, even from childhood, have hindered ability to recognize the warning signs before it's too late.

I thought maybe it might be helpful to some of you as well.
