Still gets in my head

I know I'm getting better but damn, why does he still get into my head after 10 months? Yesterday I was driving home after picking up my daughter and as I was getting off the parkway from one direction, there he was getting off from the other direction. He followed me I guess about a mile from the parkway and down the block where my garage is and then drove past me. That is definitely not the route he would take to go home so it was deliberate but why??? And why am I still thinking about it?

I'm almost beginning to hate him so maybe that's good. Maybe I need to hate him before becoming indifferent.
