Valentines sentiment that matters

I just received the most beautiful Valentine's Day wish this morning.......

"Happy Valentine's Day to the most amazing woman in the world. The love, courage, and strength that you have shown over the years makes me love you all the more!"

This sentiment was from my daughter. Remember, we ARE loved. We should concentrate more on the ones that love us and less on the ones that don't.

The ones that remain in our lives are the ones that are worthy of our love.

Absolutely!

I'm going to spend this evening with people I love... my good friends that I am very fortunate to be working with. Maybe we'll take a few of our single colleagues to the bar with us so they won't be alone. There are so many good people in my life, and I bought myself a lovely flower mug today which made me smile. :)

Thats beautiful! I used to insist that Valentines was strictly for romantic love, but somehow my attitude has changed. I can count the times on one hand that Ive had a partner in my life for V-day,and Im almost 40. But still, I love the idea of it, and definately have hope for the future! Last Valentines, I was with someone who didn't love me and it was heart-breaking, as we know how narcs are with this kind of stuff. But this year Im happy. I had alot of fun sending my little nephews their V-day cards, and plastering stickers all over the envelopes:) Thankyou for posting Sparrow and have a beautiful day!
