Wanting to say hello

Just wanted to stop in to say hello to everyone , I have been a member here for a while and I think of this forum often , it saved me from a life of hell! I hope you all are doing the work that is asked of you because trust me it really works !
I had a few people in my life that were very controlling and abusive and I just shut them all out , I had an issue a couple of weekend ago ( I call it an issue because what I learned here it didn't affect me ) there was a man who had a crush on me since I was a teenager and he tried very hard to be very manipulative to try and get what he wanted from me , he wanted a relationship with me and when I told him no well he didn't care for that response as many of you know they don't like that word , anyway he found out that I am engaged and told me that if he couldn't be with me he would kill himself because he would have no reason to live , I told him , well if you're that stupid go ahead , well he did ! He killed himself he overdosed on his painkillers , I've known him for a long time and if I never found this site and learned what I have , I would be taking the blame for what this man did all because I wouldn't be with him , you can't fix stupid and I don't even try , I have come too far and life is amazing ,I am now with a man who loves and respects everyone!! He doesn't lie , cheat , abuse, or manipulate anyone , he treats everyone with respect , and beats the shit out of those who disrespects anyone expect ally females .
